Starladder has announced that Gambit, QB.Fire, AVANGAR and Team Spirit have been invited to the CIS closed qualifier for StarSeries i-League Season 5.

The four invitees will join four teams coming from the open qualifying stage in the closed qualifier, with one spot at StarSeries i-League Season 5 on offer.

FORZE, FlipSid3 and GoodJob have already earned spots in the closed qualifier, with the last team being decided later on Tuesday in the clash between EPG and Space Jam.

AdreN's Gambit will try to qualify for StarSeries S5

Gambit are the highest-ranked team confirmed for the qualifier. Denis "⁠seized⁠" Kostin's side moved up seven places to tenth in the latest update following their semi-final run at DreamHack Masters Marseille after beating Space Soldiers and North American duo Liquid and Cloud9.

The CIS qualifier will feature a single-elimination, best-of-three bracket, with the team list looking as follows:
